Feedstock
The dross you are paying to remove is our raw material.
Pride Metal Industries buys aluminium dross, process scrap and mixed aluminium scrap for recovery at its Butibori plant. If you run an extrusion press, a die-casting shop, a rolling mill or a smelter, this is the other half of our business — and probably the easier half of yours.
What we buy
Material we are set up to process.
Dross is difficult feedstock — the metal is bound into an oxide matrix and has to be recovered before it can be melted usefully. Our plant exists to do exactly that, which is why we want the material most remelters would rather avoid.

Aluminium dross
Skimmings and oxide-rich residue from melting and holding furnaces. This is our primary feedstock and the material we are set up to recover metal from.
Process scrap
Runners, risers, rejects, offcuts, trimmings and turnings generated in casting, extrusion, rolling and pressing operations.
Mixed aluminium scrap
Segregated or mixed grades — tell us what it is and where it comes from and we will tell you whether it fits our process.
Why sell to a processor
A trader moves your dross. We process it.
Selling to a processor means the material goes into a known route with known equipment, not onto a truck to somewhere unspecified. For anyone with an environmental compliance obligation attached to their waste stream, that difference matters.
- Recovered on site at MIDC Butibori — not resold onward
- Residue calcined into alumina powder rather than landfilled
- Melting operations run under bag filters and dust collection
- Regular monthly arrangements preferred over one-off lots
- Central India location — short haul for Maharashtra, MP, Chhattisgarh and Telangana

Questions
From material suppliers.
What kinds of aluminium dross do you take?
Skimmings and oxide-rich residues from melting and holding furnaces, along with process scrap such as runners, risers, rejects, offcuts and turnings. Tell us the source process and typical monthly quantity and we will confirm whether it suits our recovery route.
How is the price decided?
On expected metal recovery, which depends on the material and the process it came from. Send a description and, where possible, a sample or an analysis, and we will come back with a basis rather than a guess.
Do you collect, or do we deliver?
Discuss it at enquiry — logistics from your site to MIDC Butibori are agreed as part of the arrangement.
Where does the material go?
Into the same plant that supplies our ingots, circles and utensils. Metal is recovered and cast; the residue is calcined into alumina powder for refractory, ceramic and abrasive buyers rather than landfilled.
Can you handle a regular monthly arrangement?
Yes — regular arrangements with a predictable monthly volume are exactly what we prefer, because it lets us plan the charge mix.
